How to compile AfterShock running LinuxEdit

The AfterShock source is located in a subversion repository on To check out the latest revision of AfterShock you need a programm called subversion. To install subversion on debian-based systems type

apt-get install subversion

as root. To download the latest revision change back to normal usermode(not root) and type

svn checkout oaunofficial

in the folder of your choice, this will download the AfterShock source to a folder named oaunofficial.

To compile AfterShock you need a compiler and the command make. To install gcc and make on a debian-based system type

apt-get install build-essential gcc make

as root. To compile AfterShock change to the oaunofficial directory as normal user and type
