How to compile AfterShock running LinuxEdit

The AfterShock source is located in a subversion repository on http://code.google.com/p/oaunofficial/. To check out the latest revision of AfterShock you need a programm called subversion. To install subversion on debian-based systems type

apt-get install subversion

as root. To download the latest revision change back to normal usermode(not root) and type

svn checkout http://oaunofficial.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ oaunofficial

in the folder of your choice, this will download the AfterShock source to a folder named oaunofficial.


To compile AfterShock you need a compiler and the command make. To install gcc and make on a debian-based system type

apt-get install build-essential gcc make

as root. To compile AfterShock change to the oaunofficial directory as normal user and type

make
