Gametypes: Edit

You can change the gametypes on your server using the cvar: /g_gametype <n> ( n= the number of the gametype ). The gametype will change when a match start or restart, you can make it work too by voting or changing to another map ( gametype won't change right after you used the cvar ).

Free For All: Edit

FFA's ( Free For All ) gametype number is 0, you can set it using: /g_gametype 0

In FFA ( also called deathmatch ), the goal is quite simple, you have to kill every other players to get frags points, and the first player to reach the fraglimit wins the match. You earn 1 point everytime you kill a player, and you loose 1 point if you kill yourself.

Tournament: Edit

Tournament's ( also called duel ) gametype number is 1, you can set it using: /g_gametype 1

In Tournament, you're fighting 1 versus 1, all the other players are spectating. There's a 10 mins timelimit, and the player with the most points wins the match at the end.

Single Player Deathmatch: Edit

Single Player Deathmatch's gametype number is 2, you can set it using: /g_gametype 2

In Single Player Deathmatch, you play determined maps in a defined order against bots in FFA. This gametype is not an online multiplayer gametype.


Team Deathmatch: Edit

Team Deathmatch's ( TDM ) gametype number is 3, you can set it using: /g_gametype 3

In TDM, you're starting in one of the 2 teams ( blue or red ), and you have to kill all the players of the other team. Timelimit is 15 mins, and at the end of the match, the team with the most points wins the match.

Capture The Flag: Edit

Capture The Flag's ( CTF ) gametype number is 4, you can set it using: /g_gametype 4

In CTF, you're starting in one of the 2 teams ( blue or red ), there is a Capture limit ( set to 8 captures ), and the goal is to reach this Capture limit before the other team by picking the other team's flag and bring it back to your own team's flag.

One Flag Capture: Edit

One Flag Capture's gametype number is 5, you can set it using: /g_gametype 5

In One Flag Capture, you're starting in one of the 2 teams ( blue or red ), there is one white flag in the middle of the map, you have to pick this white flag, and then bring it to the other team's flag to score. As in CTF, there's a Capture limit set to 8.


Overload: Edit

Overload's gametype number is 6, you can set it using: /g_gametype 6

In Overload you're starting in one of the 2 teams ( blue or red ), both teams got an obelisk in their base with a huge health stock ( 2500 HP ) and health regeneration. You score 1 point when you destroy the other team's obelisk. The first team to reach the points limit wins the match.


Harvester: Edit

Harvester's gametype number is 7, you can set it using: /g_gametype 7

In Harvester, you're starting in one of the 2 teams ( blue or red ), when you kill a red/blue player, respectively a red/blue skull appears at the skull generator usually in the middle of the map. If you walk over a skull of your own color, it'll disapear, if you walk over a skull of the other team's color, you'll pick it, and then you have to bring it to the other team's flag spot to score. When you die while carrying skulls, the skulls disapear. The first team to reach the score limit wins the match ( the limit is usually 20 ).


Elimination: Edit

Elimination's gametype number is 8, you can set it using: /g_gametype 8

In Elimination ( also called Clan Arena or CA ) you're starting in of the 2 teams ( blue or red ). It's played by rounds and each round got a timelimit, at every round's start, everyone is spawning on the map with all the weapons, a big ammo stock, and a big health and armor stock ( basically 200/150 or 200/100 ). The goal is to kill every player from the other team without loosing all the players of your team. The winning team is the one with the latest players alive, or the one with the biggest health stock at the end of the round. When you're killed during a round, you have to wait until the next round starts to play again. The first team to reach the win rounds limit wins the match ( usually the winning rounds limit is set to 8 ).


CTF Elimination: Edit

CTF Elimination's ( CTFE ) gametype number is 9, you can set it using: /g_gametype 9

In CTFE ( also called Capture Strike or CS ), you're starting in one of the 2 teams ( blue or red ) and the goal isn't like in CTF just to capture the other team's flag. When the round starts, the announcer says if your team must attack or defend, if you have to defend, you don't have to let the other team picking your flag and you have to eliminate all their players. When you're attacking you have 2 options: either you eliminate all the other team, either you capture their flag. You earn points when you're attacking if you capture the flag or eliminate the other team, there is a pair number of rounds. At the end, the team with the most points wins the match.


Last Man Standing: Edit

Last Man Standing's gametype number is 10, you can set it using: /g_gametype 10

In Last Man Standing, the goal is similar to Elimination, but you're not part of a team. It is like a Free For All's version of Elimination, the last player on each rounds wins 1 point, the first player to reach the score limit wins the match.


Double Domination: Edit

Double Domination's gametype number is 11, you can set it using: /g_gametype 11

In Double Domination, you're starting in one of the 2 teams ( blue or red ), the goal is to keep the control of 2 strategic points at the same time. If you keep the control of those 2 points for 10 seconds, you score 1 point. The first team to reach the score limit wins the match.


Domination: Edit

Domination's gametype number is 12, you can set it using: /g_gametype 12

In Domination, you're starting in one of the 2 teams, the goal is to reach the score limit ( usually 500 ) by keeping the control of some strategic points. There are flags on the map, and when you get over a flag, it turns on your team's color and those flags generate points per seconds ( how much they generate depends of how many flags you got in the map ). The first team to reach the score limit wins the match.
